Shopster Review
Shopster is an interesting ecommerce marketplace where sellers and manufacturers can list thier products and allow retailers to sell it for them. They offer some level of discount to the retailer and they then mark up the product to whatever they want. It’s a pretty cool idea and works well in certain situations. I wouldn’t recommend relying on it completely to stock your store, but if there’s a gap you need to fill or a specific product related to your niche, it’s not bad.
You won’t make big margins here. Most do not offer a huge discount on the product. You also need to look for small niche products, rather than trying to sell the popular stuff that everyone else is selling. Look for cool products in niche categories related to what you’re selling.
Shopster does charge monthly fees for certain services, although there is a limited free option. You can give it a try for free and see if you have any luck with it. It’s a good addition to your primary supplier in my opinion.
